KIBF is also one of the largest cultural festivals in the State and a forum for academic discussion on the major issues of our time. As per the last Kochi International Book Festival, more than one lakh people visits the venue.

The gender ratio of visitors in the 20th Kochi International Book Festival was 55% males and 45% females.

The age ratio of visitors is as follows: Students - 25%, Youth - 25%, Middle Aged - 35%, Senior Citizens - 15%.

The participation fee from exhibitors is very nominal when comparing to any other International Book Festivals. But this does not mean the services available for the exhibitors are minimal. KIBF is professionally organised by a dedicated team of experts who are running this for the past two decades.
